We organised a driver training day for our car club last weekend and i thought it would be a good chance to give panning a go to see what i could come up with. Here are some results of my efforts, and thanks to redline for the tip on slowing down the shutter speed as well. :wink:

Technique looks very good. The car is sharp and the rest is very nicely blurred. Perhaps the only thing I can suggest is to fill the frame with the car a little bit more?

I'm still yet to try panning when I do though if I can get shots like yours I'd be happy.

Nice Shots Jamie. Couple of nice cars too. Technique looks pretty good to me.

looks good Jamie, however i would try to avoid panning with barriers as it takes away the motion bg appeal of things.
