Panning...We organised a driver training day for our car club last weekend and i thought it would be a good chance to give panning a go to see what i could come up with. Here are some results of my efforts, and thanks to redline for the tip on slowing down the shutter speed as well.

Technique looks very good. The car is sharp and the rest is very nicely blurred. Perhaps the only thing I can suggest is to fill the frame with the car a little bit more?
I'm still yet to try panning when I do though if I can get shots like yours I'd be happy. Cheers, Owen.
Nice Shots Jamie. Couple of nice cars too. Technique looks pretty good to me.

looks good Jamie, however i would try to avoid panning with barriers as it takes away the motion bg appeal of things.
Life's pretty straight without drifting
