Portrait done different

Hi All, well more playing with PS and just happen to have a pic of me mate i took month ago at the track, a candid really but anyhow i showed him this and he near died said it makes him look like 55 yrs old.
Anyhow i had a laugh.

You know it does make him look old but neverthless I like the post processing. The first one is a happy snap and the second is a portrait.

Good stuff.

Thanks Jonesy, yeh it is different turned like you said a snap into something good, i wont tell you what he called me when he seen this. :lol:
But i like it even though it makes him look older.

Redeem yourself with your mate by using same crop, make a selection of background or better still the guy himself (possibly using magnetic tool with feather of about 1-2 pixels), inverse selection do a lens blur(between, I say, 30-45%) of background, healing tool all his crows feet, wrinkles etc away add a warming filter and let her rip. He's going to think he's Tom Cruise. Then stand back and reap the accolades. :lol:
On the serious side whilst interesting post processing I think the crop you used is fantastic with the addition of a little warm up filter, perhaps some backgound lens blur and you've got yourself a lovely portrait. :wink:

Thanks Marco , i just tried that and looks ok as well. This is what i like about this place always someone will know some neat idea's on these things.

Whats what Thai? was that meant to be how old?of so he is in his 40's.
