Westgate Bridge Views

Hello , took these on Sunday , late afternoon, nothing special here it was just that i was driviving past ans the D2X wanted to get out and stretch it;s pixals so i obliged, no pp,ing other than slight sharpening, all hand held, Aperture priority f8, Sima 15-30 lens, last shot was taken on 400 iso as it was getting quite dark to hand hold safely, this was @ 25sec !

It's a good spot isn't it Norm :) That's near the memorial not far from AGM.

The last one is the pick of the bunch due to the lighting. Although the Westgate bridge is practical, it is very ugly. Not as ugly as the citylink bridge though. Why are there no attractive bridges in Victoria? There are plenty of attractive buildings and other structures.

Kipper , yes it's a good spot, so is the other side (city) for morning shots,
and Killa , they maybe ugly but nevertheless interesting subjects, and as a photographic teacher once said to me one dark morning when i had dared to question him about his choice of subjects for our assignments, ''Norman you need to learn to take pictures of dull boring subjects in sub standard light if you want to become a competent photographer ! ''
I bet he's turning over in his grave when he views my images !

Did you mean 25 seconds or 1/25 second handheld shot for that last pic? If it's the former very impressive :D
