Reworked and older pic I found that turned out better than I thought it would have.

I prefer this version over the previous one, but it lacks the oomph of this pic

Very effective, what did you use to back light it with?

I have to say I really like the work you have done with the light and subject, this is a great image!

That said I do however think if the stem did not show through the leaf from the back lighting the image would be even better

Interesting effect Mic but I agree with lostdingo here. Lovely technique though. You are becoming a low key expert.
