Redhead Sunset series (5 images)

Hi,
saw a nice sunset coming on Saturday, so rushed down to a wetlands area hoping to get a few good ones.
No. 1 (west)
No. 2 (west)
No. 3 (south-west)
No. 4 (west, north-west
)
No. 5 (south-west)
Not much PP done except a bit of cropping and adjusting curves.
All taken with D70s and kit lens.
I tried a couple of bracketed shots to try blending. I've figured how to do it in The Gimp, or PS for that matter, but need more time. It's a time consuming procedure to do it right. Once I get it done, I'll post the result for comments. I read about blending a few days ago. For those that don't know (that was me just a few days ago), you take one picture exposing for the dark areas and one picture exposed for the bright areas. You then blend them together and hopefully, you end up with a nicely exposed picture. One can also do it with graduated ND filters, but don't have these, so digital blending it is.
If you want to read about it, see below for The Gimp:

Or this one for Photoshop:

comments welcomed,
Cheers
