Nice color saturation but appears to be a bit of noise in the evening sky. Just a suggestion but you may want to have a play with a bit longer exposure that can smooth the ripples in the water a bit

A Pano crop of this shot could do a great deal of justice to the image overall

very nice :)

There are so many crops/versions of this you could do (a pano version of this would be really nice too), but I like the decision you've made to stick with the expanse of clear sky.

The noise doesn't worry me at all, and I think gives a little character. I also find the ripples somewhat appealing in this shot (just to stir up some controversy around taste ;) !).

It's the sort of pic I see gracing the cover of a book (with the title in the blue sky).

Sheepie is exactly right, there are many different tastes and opinions that can be given on each image but at the end of the day you need to do what works for you overall.

I love the different opinions and ideas that are shared on here or as Sheepie says "controversy" because I know with my own submissiosn people make very good suggestions. The ideas and suggestions are often amazing and after receieving I often think "oh yeah, why didn't I think of that". The knowledge and experience that many have on this forum is beyond measure. (not me, I'm a newbie! :shock:BTW, Sheepie is the numero uno on panaramic capture, you should trace some threads for his shot of Sydney, great stuff!!! 8)

I like this a lot. It makes Brissy look like its floating...maybe it is. I would possibly take out the last building on the right as it is a bit hard on the floating theme and it might then make the skyline fade a little more.

Very peaceful.

Hello

I agree with Sheepie that this would look great as a book cover as it is now, but I think it would look great if it was cropped a centimeter above the highest cloud.

Kerry - beautiful shot. The lights almost give the city a showground fair kind of look (just my opinion). The only thing I would do is crop the 3 silos from the right hand side of the shot - again only my opinion. Looks like a postcard :)

And of course the Storey Bridge in Brissey is one of a kind !!! :) ;)
