Hi WW,
I have just looked at all three of you threads in this series. I have to say that in general I really like the colours you achieve. The richness of the reds compliment the depth of the blues really well.
Some of my thoughts on this series:
#1 - seems to lack punch. I wonder if adjusting the levels, brightness/contrast, saturation may help. Also the grass appears soft for me. Was this a DOF choice or was it really windy?
#2 - interesting lighting. Was it late in the day or was this a result of the cloud cover?
#3 - love the colours!! I think I would prefer more of a balance between the amount of "red" and "blue" in the image. For me, the red appears to dominate the image a little too much.
#4 - I like the simplicity of this one.

Hi MK - First off - thanks for taking the time to write back. I really apreciate it when peopel take the time to give feedback on my posts - so thanks.

#1 was a bit of a tough shot exposure-wise because it was glarey and overcast. I took about 15 shots before i found something i was happy with. Hence the high level of PP in #2 - which was an ordinary image that i played with to achieve something interesting enough to post. I basically chopped it at the horizon and made a layer for the foreground, and then used levels and burn tool to bring the sky/background back and made it "dramatic" and then I over saturated the foreground and lighened it. An interesting effect but i think i butchered the stitching.

#3 I can see where you are coming from - it was a shot to demonstrate the contrast between land and sea, im not sure how i should crop it to try and get less red.

#4 - To me the boat made this shot. Without it - the shot would be a little dull with nothing to look for in the BG. I also wanted to try and portray the vastness between me and it (as the subject) with an interesting contrasting sharp rock ledge in the foreground. I think i will get it printed off and see how it looks at larger size.
