Re: Arthur Seat
yeocsa Had a look at your pic - very nice location but I feel that the front of the building needs to be lightened up a little. When you do a link make sure there are no spaces - you have one after the .jpg ![]() http://images.photonski.com/large/yeocsa/76537-large-arthur_seat.jpg Chris

It is a nice location. I'm with Chris on the building. I think I'd like to go back to Arthurs Seat in the morning (sun behind you then) and on a nice clear day. Haven't got around to it yet. I think then there will be a nice opportunity for some panos of the bay, view etc.

It wasn't meant as a link... it was meant as an image... but the same rule applies... no spaces in between the fields.

HiThanks for fixing the link. I had occassional problem with [/img] becomes part of the hyperlink and it wouldn't work. Please advise. Thanks.
Agree. The picture would be better taken with the sun shining on the front of the building. regards, Arthur
I wasn't sure what to expect with that thread name, Arthur, thought maybe you had taken a photo of your butt.

Could someone please explain the history of this place and why it's called Arther's Seat?
The reason for asking is as a ex-Scot living in Sydney the Arthur's Seat I know and love resides in Edinburgh behind the Castle. Here's some details on the area if your interested, certainly worth a visit if your in the area ![]() http://www.geo.ed.ac.uk/arthurseat/
