Pink Opera House

Postby Steffen on Thu Sep 28, 2006 12:01 am

Has anyone had the chance yet to shoot the SOH in PINK? I just snatched a glimpse of it on TV...

The SOH sails are lit up in pink light in support of the Breast Cancer Foundation. It's definitely an unusual look, worth capturing if you're in the area!

Cheers
Steffen.

When will the light be lit until?

I'd be interested in grabbing a pix of it in pink colours if the night out goes on the weekend's Night meet event :)

Just got back from there. I was expecting REAL pink, and hence was dissapointed when all I got was this :

Not even sure if that's a little bit of pink there or just my imagination ;;

Abel, you are right, there is some there, it looked white from here. Bit lightweight when you remember what they did for the olympics

Yi-P,

I'm not so sure now. I think it's more likely that the real pink ended yesterday and the slight pink that I saw today was just an imagination. Since the OP saw it in TV I think it's unlikely that the video was highly PPed.

edit : Quick googling found <a href="http://www.globalillumination.org.au/category.asp?type=sub_page&page=27&sub_page=1">this </a> and <a href="http://www.sydneysymphony.com/page.asp?p=705">this</a> :cry:

Looks like we missed it.

edit2 : further googling found that the OH was lit for 2 nights only, 26th and 27th. However apparently the summit restaurant will stil be pink for 2 more weeks.
