Going now to get storm shots...I'm heading to Woody Point on the Redcliffe Peninsula right now to catch shots of the large storm as it heads over the water. Feel free to join me if you want. Mob 0407650331.

Thanks for that Mark - I was watching the radar too. We only got a few little pebbles of hail and no damage. I was thinking of going out myself for some photos but it just looked too messy to get any clean lightning shots. There was no real front as such and a lot of sheet lightning that probably would have blown out much chance of decent captures.

We got really nasty stuff here on the inner southside.

Large hail (cricket ball sized), coupled with lots of wind and lots of rain. Thought our windows were going to get smashed in at one stage. I fear my old Range Rover in the backyard may have come off second best. Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes. http://www.dionm.net/
just had some heavy rain at Jacobs Well
