Wish I could Mark - cast your eye over your left shoulder and give me a wave. I'll be dropping the kids to ballet and a birthday party at Cleveland and keeping a close eye on any potential hail...

storm...

Hi Mark - are you still around??

I'm Northside and interested... I believe you're quite near the CBD? I make it to be 6.20pm now - your post looks very recent.

how'd the chase go?
I was stuck at work and resigned to seeing the shots brought in by work photographers at the editors desk.

although one of my fav shots from yesterday was by a friend in Hamilton

That was a hum dinger of a storm. I was heading up to Mt Gravatt to get some shots but it beat me. Almost like a tornado in Mt Gravatt - flying wheelie bins, horizontal rain. Real scary.

Things are pretty unstable again today so there might be another good opportunity

On the Southside it was bad but not as bad as other suburbs copped the storm.

Garden City Shopping Centre had a number of shops closed due to water coming in through the roof. The amout Westfield charge in rent you'd at least expect to be dry
