Hi Justin,
the first image isn't for me, I can't find a point of interest for the eyes to come back to and start straying from. For a study in green it is too busy and has too many foreign tones.

The second one I like a lot. This is a nice condensation of the idea of orange.

The last shot is the opposite of the first, too many interesting/intriguing subjects in one picture. It looks like you're accentuating certain spots through colour, however they don't pull in the same direction but seem to fight for supremacy, making the image confusing. But maybe that's just me being thick...

All the shots were handheld - I'm getting good shots down to 1/10 at medium zoom with this lens.

In the first image, I like the backlit ground leaves, with the grass in the background and the leaves being blown by the wind.

You are right about the third photo, it shows I couldn't quite decipher it's meaning. Some flowers marking the scene of an accident, what the heck is 'bie Iams' shaking his finger at. The colours draw attention to the flowers on the tree, in the original they are faded brown and just fade into the tree.

I need to ponder some more on this one, what does it mean... I also have a wider shot of the same subject, I'll see if anything sensible comes out of that.

Ahh the memories of the buzz from those first images of your own telephoto lense.
Interesting bokeh on the highly saturated image in No 1.
No 2 has a very eerie appeal - but I always like yellow!!!

Hey Suri, if the Marigolds appear yellow, check the color temperature on your PC - At high temp (normal computer monitor WB), they appear yellow and at lower temp (6500 or so, better for pics IMHO) they appear much more orange... or am I colourblind?

Now I've just wasted an hour trying to calibrate my monitor.
Guess it must be me who is blind, but when I make your Marigolds go Orange I really don't like the balance of results elsewhere.
Thinks I'm going to have to live with yellow Marigolds!!

great work! i really like the first two. although not technically correct i find the yellow of the marigolds works really well... for me at least.

the third picture has great potential but finger shaking Robbie in the background doesnt seem to sit well with the theme of the picture. my eyes were drawn straight to it and only after that did i take in the rest of the picture.
