Great shots here Craig. I love the treatment of the opera house shot.
On the negative side, I reckon the car in the corner building shot is too distracting but, short of sending in a tow truck or spending a long time attemtping to clone it out, I guess it's there to stay.

All of them great shots, but #2 is simply stunning. Fantastic composition and framing, definitely my favourite for the week :)

Not being from Sydney and only visiting breifly for the Rugby WorldCup. I would have to say that No.1 is one of the best images I have seen of the Opera House.

The last one looks like you should work some magic on it, bit more moody and intense!

Nice shots Keith... I wish I'd come along now...

The last shot might be improved by correcting the perspective to make the tower stand up straight...
Cheers, John

Hi Keith. Great to meet you yesterday. I can see now why you under expose your shots of the SOH. The detail in the sails is awesome compared to my shots. Lesson learnt 8) Fantastic treatment too, btw.

I also like #2 and #4. #3 just doesn't grab me but can't put my finger on what it is. Perhaps the car, as Tim suggested

not quite right
the shots are defiantly not under exposed... I payed attention to not blowing out the highlights on any part of the sails to keep all the details in there, then the trick is to wait till the background light comes up to the required level to bring detail to the rest of the shot
i.e. using the lights on the sails as you would fill flash on a back lit subject but as the lights output can't be adjusted you adjust the back lighting by waiting for the light to come to you
you only have about a 5 min window to get the shot, but you need to start about 1/2 hour before to narrow down your final settings which are vary dependant on the amount of cloud cover on the day
