These came out even better than they looked on the back of the camera. I'm getting worried that I'm starting to like your 'experimental' shots ![]() Peter

Nice work Leigh.. Much more impressive then my chicken shot.. looks like we need to get a slightly bigger IR filter...
![]()
There was definitely a bit of filter fun going on that day, which was cool to see
![]() Did anyone try the fisheye in conjunction with Craig's funky "reversed teleconverter" trick? THAT would have been a sight to see....
The first of these three is superb.

Steffan, your right that would of been excellent to try... but alas we didn't think of that... perhaps next Saturday we can give that a go... and post the results....
I've been looking on the net for IR filters and other methods of distorting / modifying the image.
There are two other types of non-red cast IR filters I've seen, but BH are the only place I know of who have them and I'll wait 'till I have some money lying around to bring them in. I'll make sure to bring them in at 52mm so this effect works, too. ![]() Cheers for the comments, all. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

What strikes me the most is just how many stops of light are lost due to the IR filter. But even so, there are still fringe foliage details in the periphery that were captured. That D70 sensor's latitude is no slouch!
Love your work Leigh.
Even the subject looks good through this lens ![]() Geoff

Has Peter lost weight? ![]() ![]() ![]() Really like these Leigh - which I, like Peter, find somewhat disturbing. One of your best 'experimental' (?) series to date ![]() *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
