Re: Camera/Photographic Clubs in Brisbane.Hey guys thanks for sharing this with us.
I'm a Qld photographer who is that desperate for business that I feel I have to hire spammers from India and spam local photographic sites in order to try to attract custom. But spammers are dumb, and the 'togs on this site are all better than I am.
Re: Camera/Photographic Clubs in Brisbane.
http://luella-photography.com.au/ you have to be joking right, surely you are not a photographer trying to spam on a photography forum...correct me if I am wrong. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Camera/Photographic Clubs in Brisbane.
An unusual first post as is your signature block touting your photography business to a bunch of photographers. That may make sense if you were a regular here and people knew you, but it's unusual for a newbie. Peter

Re: Camera/Photographic Clubs in Brisbane.
It's also very stupid, as most spammers are. In this case the "user" is located in India, as per their DNS lookup ...
So, this idiot goes and pays money to these morons in India to go and tout for business for him, and they go and spam a site of photographers, and pretty well most of them are way better (photographically speaking) than he is too. It's pretty well true: buy a semi-high end camera, set up a website, and you can call yourself a photographer. Fortunately, there is no substitute for actual photography skills, and sadly, that's not what we're seeing here. Who's surprised at this set of outcomes? Not I. g.

Camera/Photographic Clubs in Brisbane.Semi high end camera... You must be going for the cream of the crop Gary!
I just went to a wedding where the hired photographer was sporting a 350D and using the pop up flash!
Re: Camera/Photographic Clubs in Brisbane.Just talking about the typical dickhead who thinks that having a camera means they know how to take photos. Like the hired gun at the wedding you mention. 350D for "duh"!
But you've got to wonder about the (absence of) business acumen of some idiot who thinks that hiring people in India to spam irrelevant (to his business) websites in order to try to tout his absence of photography and business skills. May many spores of mould grow all over his glass, rendering it only capable of producing "artistic" images. g.

Re: Camera/Photographic Clubs in Brisbane. They'll get their payback (Karma if you like). They have their email and mobile number on their website. May the spammers find this.
Re: Camera/Photographic Clubs in Brisbane. Here's the calibre of person we're dealing with. I sent, through their website, an email letting them know that they were spamming people. I also let them know how I felt about it.
Here's the response ...
How many grammatical and spelling errors are there here? And she's totally clueless about how the interwebs work. Young working mum? I think I've definitely nailed it in terms of the type of 'tog she is. g.

Camera/Photographic Clubs in Brisbane.Should've guessed... It seems like every stay at home mum with a DSLR is a wedding photographer.
Re: Camera/Photographic Clubs in Brisbane.Rude & hurtful email?
How about the unconscionable spamming? Dozy bitch! TFF (Trevor)

Re: Camera/Photographic Clubs in Brisbane.
That must've been someone else. My email was "rude and hutful". I responded to that comment with something along the lines of "good".
Exactly. But she doesn't seem to associate that with her behaviour; she's wanting to take it up with her webhosts. I've suggested to her that it's perhaps related to the so-called seo experts that she may have employed in order to try to boost her web ranking. Bloody idiots. g.
