A night I really want to forget :(

Postby Kris on Tue Oct 19, 2004 11:07 pm

I went to take some shots, all of which were fairly ordinary. What happened, I knew would happen sooner or later.. the camera fell :( Luckily it was only on the tripod at its lowest height. I grazed the edge of the lens housing (very minor but annoying) and put a very small mark on the rubber grip. It survived. The worst bit was that when zooming from 18mm to about 25mm, the action isnt as smooth as it used to be :(

Focusing and so on 'appears' to be normal. Luckily I didnt scratch the lens either!

:( :(

All in all, a no good very bad day.

It happens to all of us. I forgot to zip up my Lowepro backpack and went to throw it onto my back...everything fell out. Luckily, onto the carpet. You had an experience and you will grow because of it. This is the getting of wisdom.

No wonder you put the subjects in the middle, the edges are probably fuzzy
