Bibble V4.8 released with B&W plugin

Postby radar on Fri Jun 23, 2006 6:47 pm

Hi,

just got notification that Bibble Lite/Pro V4.8 has been released, press release at:

http://www.bibblelabs.com/press/pr20060623.html

One of the new feature that I'm keen to try out is the new B&W conversion plug-in and their improved lens-correction tool.

It will run on Windows, Linux, Mac OSX(Universal binary so Intel/PPC) and you can download a free 30 day trial.

Downloading it now. Lookout for B&W photos

Cheers,

André

Hi Andre,

Have not heard of the Bibble software before. Looks like it might be similar to Adobe Lightroom with a whole plugin architecture. Is that correct?

Do you think I should be looking into Bibble or keep waiting for Lightroom?

I haven't used Lightroom but from what I have read, Bibble is a similar product.

You can try Bibble now for 30 days, for free. So while you are waiting you may as while try something that is ready now :D

Also look at their little video that shows some tips on getting you going.

Cheers,

André

I'll give it a go for sure. Does anyone know what the estimated RRP for lightroom is? I guess if comparing products price has a fair part to play.
