Sigma DP-1

Unless they get too big for themselves, this is where you can talk about the "other" brands of DSLR's: Konica Minolta / Sony, Pentax / Samsung, Olympus, Horseman, etc.

Sigma DP-1

After seeming like vapourware since it's announcement a while ago, finally the Sigma DP-1 will soon be arriving.

Looks very good so far - DSLR image quality in a very compact design.

I’m very interested in one of these as a slip-in-pocket camera

Well it's out. I've heard mid-march for Australia, and about $1150

The self elected chief fanboy is here: http://www.rytterfalk.com/ The image quality from raw looks to be quite good.

As usual, dpreview is abuzz with the usual psychos as well as some useful information. I love the idea of this camera, but I'm undecided. I could get a good lens for that much money :)
