The winner of this weeks POTW is Jason (MSF) for his capture of one of the most beautiful times in life, a new born baby. This image although cliché is a wonderful treasured moment captured through the essential medium of photography.

Thanks heaps for this, I never thought I would see any of my pics in this spot.. Especially considering the awesome quality from so many of the others on here..

Nope, I admit it's not my baby... (that I am aware of :p)

I was asked by a friend (not the mum of the baby) to take some "before and after" pics of the Mum to be (and Bub once born) as she wanted to have them printed up on canvas to give to the parents as a gift.

As I mentioned in the original thread - it's the first time I have ever done this sort of photography so I wasn't sure what to expect. Overall I am pretty happy with the results, but after being seletced for POTW, I am estatic :D

I am having another friend of mine give them a touch up in photoshop (I suck at anything serious in photoshop - I can do borders and resizing etc, but leave the rest to the experts) so should hopefully look heaps better once printed up..
