Night shoot at Blues Point

Postby Matt. K on Wed May 10, 2006 10:09 pm

I will be doing a bit of a night shoot at Blues Point tomorrow evening (11th May). If anyone wants to drop in and join me feel welcome. I'll be there to watch night fall and leave around 7.30pm.

Deal, done and sold. I have the arvo off and was planning a bike trip over to Nth Sydney anyway.

I might even bring my camera too :) (Mental note: Bring warm jacket. Not used to cold. I want to go back to Noumea.)

If I'm doing nothing, which is very possibly, I might hop on a train and hit Milsons Point (is that where I go?) and walk down.

Hey,
I am over in the city for a shoot around lunch time depending on the weather. I know the area well so I might drop by mid afternoon.
How will I recognise you all though...???
Or will it be the group with all the fancy cameras.
Marty
What does that button do....??

Matt, work day for me but might see if I can get out to drop down and say Hi.

Leigh, get off at Milsons Point, walk down the hill to Luna Park, around boardwalk on water then through park to steps next to Sail Australia?, go all the way up the stairs and 100m up to Blues Pt Rd, then stroll down and look for the bloke in the ghilli suit.

While you guys are down there, have a look at the nice house for sale at Blues Pt on the water (in fact the only house on the water at Blues Pt). It is not really a house, more a dark green tin shed of a boat builders with a one bedroom on top, they want .....$9m  It does have two car spots though

You forgot to mention it also has berths outside for you big motor boat, and it is registered for commercial use.
I was interested in the location, but my final offer was missing many 000000's (zero's) from the asking price.

Marty, only 8 swing moorings, might not quite fit a big motor boat  I think you and most people's offers are probably a few million short. That was the original site of William Blue's ferry operation, hence the name Blues Point.

LOL, but why walk on it when you can turn it into wine? That's just showing off!

As long as the weather holds up I intend to pop down this afternoon too, from about 3:30 or 4. Do people intend to grab dinner somewhere afterwards?
